An Absolute Nightmare of Technical Glitches 😤: A Warning Before You Buy


I’m writing this as a warning to anyone considering buying glasses online. My experience was an absolute nightmare of technical glitches and wasted time. The web site was so messed up it took me 2-1/2 hours to purchase two pairs of glasses. I was not able to type in my prescription and save it to continue my purchase, so I will have to be sent an email so i can type in the information that i already typed in on your silly web site. I am not sure I will ever attempt to order glasses from Glasses USA ever again. The entire process was so very frustrating and certainly a waste of my time. This whole ordeal left me so furious that I had to call customer service to see if a human could fix what their broken website couldn't.

Customer: I just spent over two hours trying to buy two pairs of glasses and your website is a complete disaster. It wouldn't save my prescription! Now I have to wait for an email to re-enter everything? What a joke. CS Rep: I am so sorry to hear about the trouble and frustration you've experienced. That is absolutely not the experience we want for our customers. I can certainly help you get this sorted out right now without you needing to wait for an email. Customer: It shouldn't be this hard. I already typed everything in. Twice! The whole process was a complete waste of my afternoon. I don't even know if I want the glasses anymore. CS Rep: I completely understand your frustration. A technical glitch like that is unacceptable. To make this right, I can take your prescription details over the phone and finalize the order for you. I'd also like to offer a 15% discount for the significant trouble you've gone through. Customer: Fine. Let's just get it over with. But I'm telling you, this is the last time I'm using your site.
