Paid for Expedited, Got a Logistical Nightmare 🤯
I’m writing this as a warning about my online order. I needed my glasses quickly, so I paid extra for faster shipping, but what I got was a masterclass in incompetence that forced me to contact their support team for answers. It has been a truly horrible shipping experience. I paid for expedited and have just now received my 4th shipping alert with a whole new tracking number. The first one said "routing error," the second and third were stuck on "label received" for 5 days, and now I have a 4th alert for a label that hasn't even been created yet. I suspect the product will be fine if it ever shows up, but they haven't figured out the logistics game, and it's 2022.
Customer: I paid for expedited shipping and I'm on my fourth tracking number. Can you explain where my order actually is and what is going on?
CS Rep: I am very sorry to hear about the confusion and frustration with your shipment. That's certainly not the experience we want for our customers. Could I please have your order number to investigate this immediately?
Customer: The order is 582910. This is completely unacceptable. At this point, I expect a refund for the expedited shipping fee I paid for.
CS Rep: I understand completely. I’ve located your order and see the multiple carrier errors. I have already processed a full refund for your expedited shipping charge. The most recent tracking number is the correct one, and I sincerely apologize for this logistical nightmare.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
